The Elevator Game (vfqd) Mac OS

While we recommend users use the latest GtkRadiant 1.6 version, we recognize that some designers will still prefer the GtkRadiant 1.4 and 1.5 releases they are used to. These are listed below:

  1. The Elevator Game: One of the Most Dangerous Games. The Elevator Game is a ritualistic game that will take you to another world. It’s been said that the origins of the game emanate from a strange Korean website. Not much else is known on the origins of the dangerous game. It is also unclear whether the game takes you to purgatory or a different universe altogether.

GtkRadiant 1.5 has wrapped up development and version 1.5.0 is the last stable release. GtkRadiant 1.5 installs with a universal installer for all supported games. Separate 'gamepacks' must also be installed for the required game SDK files.

For Mac, you launch finder and press down ALT. Then, you select Go and choose Library displayed in the top menu bar. Next, you will access the Application Support folder where you will find Minecraft. You put the downloaded OpenBlocks Elevator Mod into the Mods folder.

GtkRadiant 1.4 has wrapped up development and version 1.4.0 is the last stable release. GtkRadiant 1.4 includes the core program and SDK files in several bundled installers. Please choose the right version for the game platform of choice.

Gamepacks include game SDK files that are required for each game or mod you want to create levels for. If you want to create levels for more than one game or mod, you can install more than one gamepack and set GtkRadiant to use the correct one in the project settings.

GtkRadiant 1.6 comes pre-packaged with support for a number of games. Support for more games can be achieve by downloading gamepacks from the GtkRadiant Gamepack SVN, although these additional games may not be officially supported by the 1.6 branch. Learn how you can contribute to the project.

Q3Map2 is included with GtkRadiant. If you need an archived version, documentation, or other Q3map2 information, please visit the Official Q3Map2 page.

Quake 3 Extras contains revised GtkRadiant and Q3Map2 SDK files for Quake 3 level design, updated for the modern developer. Includes miscellaneous fixes and updates for GtkRadiant, Q3Map2 and Quake 3 Arena 1.32. These should be installed after the Quake 3 gamepack, replacing the necessary files.

  • Updated entity definition files for all versions of GtkRadiant.
  • Q3Map2 editor images.
  • 'Common' shader file for Q3Map2.

This update is now included with GtkRadiant 1.6 and is no longer required. If you are using an older version of GtkRadiant, you will need to download and install Quake 3 Extras separately.
